I won't say it's Subramanian's best but it has all the typical elements; the story-line is fast and gripping. The author goes out of his tested arena in this one with quite a bit of academia, research and peer-politics in universities and I'm partial here, but there are loopholes. As always, things start uncannily falling into place, as if just to solve the mystery. However, the last thing that the story is would be predictable so yes, it's worth the time. I really liked the book, because it was largely free of expletives. The book provides an insight into the banking world in India, business as conducted in India, the intense envy and competition, largely hidden amongst the academia and the powerful lobbies in the US.

Too much carnage though....

Good read...but i predicted ...might i know ravi's style of thriller after reading recent work....but definitely it hold u through.

I have read all books by Ravi except Devil in pinstripes. Excellent writing by him. Keeps one interested till the end. If you have liked any other book by Ravi, then blindly buy this one.

He's RAVI SUBRAMANIAN of Banking world. Thrilling, shrewed and fast paced. Good read. A good attempt in showing the dark side of this business.
