The globalization of financial markets has enhanced the economic links between the markets and hence has deepened the integration of financial institutions. As a result, financial institutions are forced to examine their performance and productive efficiencies. Hence, in response, banking firms have been trying to adopt and to adjust themselves to improve their productive efficiencies in the changing social and economic environment. The performance of the abnsk both the public and private sectors has become more market driven with growing emphasis on better performance.
