It is the HC Verma for GRE.

I recently gave my GRE. Some of the points I would like to mention about this book is:

1.) 800 words which are given in this book is not enough for gre, but than it can be said about any other book available in the market.
2.) Try to do every exercise given this book. They are important if you are not good at cramming.
3.) If possible also go through the words roots given at the back.
4.)Each of the 800 words are very well explained with examples.

The fastest way to learn Essential VOCAB

While most books have huge, dictionary like lists; this book has words with the greatest helpful sentences. It ensures that the word is drilled to your mind with the help of match the columns, fill ups and sense-non sense exercises. I learnt around 800 words in 10 days with this book by spending around 1 and half hour on this book. Extremely helpful. A nice book at 142Rs.

This book doesn't dwell in to roots or suffixes or prefixes, it just mentions all the important, frequently appearing words. It's not much interesting book to read like wordpower made easy, but its approach is more like an academic in style, all in all a nice book at MRP 190rs.

A Really must have book for GRE..

This book is very well written which elaborate each term with 2-3 examples.
Book even had explained the terms of the Arts, Sciences And Social Sciences.
Handy book for the aspirant who can't study on the computer and from the apps.
