About K. V. V. Murthy

Professor K. V. V. Murthy has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering IIT, Bombay since 1963. He has obtained a B.Sc from Mysore University, and got his M. Tech and PhD degrees from IIT, Bombay. His teaching and research interests include Circuit and Systems, Signal Processing, Neural Networks and CAD for VLSI Design. He has also published extensively in these areas.

About M. S. Kamath

Professor M. S. Kamath has been a faculty member in the Department of Electrical Engineering IIT, Bombay since 1961. After his retirement in 1991, he settled in Pune. He has obtained his B. E. (Hons) from Madras University, and his DIISc from IISc Bangalore. He taught here for four years before joining IIT Bombay. His interests include Networks, Power Systems and Electrical Machines.
