Batman: Arkham Asylum (Game of The Year Edition)

Before writing any thing about this game I should say I wasn't much of a Batman fan.But after watching the movie 'The Dark Knight' and playing this game everything changed...

About the product - The Batman Arkham Asylum Game of The Year Edition comes with a lot of features enough to keep us glued to the controller for several hours.The GOTY edition comes with the original game, four additional challenge maps in which we get a chance to play as Joker.Guess what thats not all, The game can be played in a new 3D technology known as the TRIOVIZ 3D which can be turned on or off at any point during the game.The game has got a brilliant story line penned by Paul Dini - the writer of Batman : The Animated Series.Though entire game is a bit dark like the movie it's got brilliant graphics.The combats in this game is really breath taking.The quick action moves of batman is really good and got it's style.As we advance through the game we will get a chance to uncover more than a 200 riddler trophies which z really challenging.Using the new TRIOVIZ 3D technology we can play the game in 3D mode without using an actual 3D TV.I cannot write more detailed review about the 3D mode as I didn't get the free 3D glasses with the product :( still I can tell u this...don't compare this with the 3D visuals in AVATAR.The disc also contain some exclusive videos about the making of the game that too in HD!

Conclusion - All I have to say is that Rocksteady has done an awesome job in creating a thrilling game for Batman and the game is totally wort the money.Juz go for it...Plus I am planning to buy the next in Batman series - Arkham City soon.... :D

PS : As mentioned above when I ordered the product from flipkart the product image shown was the one 'including the 3D glasses'.I was really excited to c this and I ordered it instantly.But to my disappointment the product I got was one without the 3D glasses that is Region 1 disc.When I tried to purchase the glass I found that the glass was really expensive to buy.Because of this I cannot enjoy the 3D mode.Apart from this the game is awesome.If you haven't purchase the game yet go for the Game of The Year Edition which is a great buy for this cheap price.It has much more in the disc apart from the original game.

The game of the year edition is the one with all the previously released DLCs included so its a great buy in the sense that you are getting all the features for a relatively less price.
This is a great action-adventure game. Unlike the previous comic-based batman who is dark, dull boring and with no super hero powers, the batman in this game is shown to be the world's greatest detective with awesome technology to practically solve anything. This game also shows that part of him where he is strong and is a master of several forms of martial arts which the comic books fail to do.
All this makes him virtually invincible which is made very evident in the game. Added to that the free-flow combat system makes the whole game a whole lot more enjoyable and makes Spiderman, from all those games seem like a wuss. Apart from all these interesting and fun parts, I found that the environment is limiting the fun because you have this amazing, highly controllable character yet there is only so many places you can go. (I guess its just a part of the storyline)
The "multiplayer" only has challenges which is also limiting the scope of online play.

As usual, flipkart's done a very good job at getting me what I wanted.

Now, for the first time, Batman, the legend, is gonna be loved by fans in movies & games alike.
Its an awsum game that packs a mammoth punch and has a superb gameplay aspect. Right from the graphics to the music to the patented FreeFlow combat system, EVERYTHINGS perfect!
My review's not gonna matter much, since people with brains exceeding the size of their fist will already have this baby!
Bottomline, u gotta own this game or ur doing urself a big injustice. And oh! Flipkarts awsum!

BATMAN:ARKHAM ASYLUM GIVES A PERFECT SOLID ALL ROUNDER GAME.BATMAN AND JOKER FIGHTS TO THE LAST MOMENT.THE TITAN FORMULA ,HARLEY QUINN AND JOKER KILLS BATMAN...ONLY TO FAIL.THE VOICE CAST IS AWESOME.IT THRILLS YOU SO MUCH THAT YOU WONT PLAY IT AT NIGHT.BATMAN'S ARSENAL OF WEAPONS CONTANING THE FAMOUS BATARANG BATCLAW AND LINE LAUNCHER.TOTALLY AMAZES YOU LIKE
HELL.THE SEQUENCE WITH KILLER CROC IS TOUGH AND LAME.BATTLES WITH TITAN THUGS,SCARECROW,BANE,JOKER AND TITAN JOKER IS GOOD.
TO ADD IT UP,ARKHAM ASYLUM WILL BLOW YOU AWAY.

I ordered this game with my new Xbox 360 Slim, And well it was well worth every penny as I am playing it from around last 15 days and its thrilling as hell.

The riddles, jokers crazy terror acts and so much more is embedded into one single game that I have hardly explored 10% yet. Lot more to come on my way.

Its one of the closest experience of being batman :D
