Synopsis and Features
The story of Arkham City begins 18 months after the events concluded in the Arkham Asylum game. Gotham has changed. The thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds that were once held in a proper asylum, now live in the heart of the city in a maximum security home called Arkham City.
Arkham city is a sprawling new super-prison that is five times bigger than Arkham Island. With a brand-new story and an all-new star cast, Arkham City includes classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe. The game promises enhanced gameplay features and new experiences to make you the Dark Knight of Gotham.
Developed by Rocksteady Studios and released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Batman: Arkham City promises a lot more than its predecessor. Fans of Arkham Asylum will have no problem learning the new game system as the single-player game does exactly what the previous game did, only better.
Starting with the core gameplay to counter attacks, Arkham City has a slew of new features that will keep you hooked for hours. You will be gliding from one building to other, fighting a group of enemies, picking locks or doing all at the same time. The Batman game keeps things simple yet thoroughly interesting.
The game features an array of new combos and multipliers. Elements of the game like XP and upgrade system have been tweaked. The new additions in the game include smoke pellets, Cryptographic Sequencer V2 and freeze grenades that help in taking out enemies faster, even if you are in a room with 20 of them. Batman can now bust through windows, use radio frequencies to eavesdrop on enemies for clues and hack certain frequencies to track other people.
The AI has been tweaked, making the enemies stronger and intelligent. They are equipped with new arsenal and come in large groups. The game takes place in many different locations, giving it a more elaborate feel. From the Medical Center, Courthouse to Monarch Theater, you will travel around the city to find out what is going on in Arkham City, Why the Joker is ill, and what are the secrets that threaten the safety of Gotham.

FANTASTIC GAME
This is the best game i have played in 2011.OMG i just finished the story mode in this game and i have only one word that can describe batman arkham city "AWESOME''.This game deffinetly deserves to win the Game of the year award.Batman arkham city is fantastic in everyway,the graphics are mind blowing,it is so stunningly detailed that batman and all the other characters look too good to be true this is one seriously good looking game.Batman,harley quin,joker,freeze,penguin,catwoman etc look so realistic and life-like that at times i felt like i was watching a movie.Rocksteady did an amazing job in using the Unreal Engine 3 for the fantastic visuals.The story was amazing and the ending was sooo unpredictable.I didn't want to put down my controller because i wanted to find out what was going to happen next in the story.The combat moves are fantastic aswell and i enjoyed beating the crap out of all the bad guys in arkham city.The open world environment is amazing and i had a nice time gliding and jumping from one roof top to another.This is the second game that i have ordered from flipkart and the delivery was very good.I didn't pre-order the game though i just ordered it and actually got the game before the expected delivery date,the expected date was monday 7th but i got it on saturday 5th,so i am happy with flipkart's service.

great game for those who like to inquiry and fight full of action...
game is awesome and fantastic and has a good story and availabe in 3D and 2D... and really awesome as cool as ever... in 3D we feel that we are in the game and really awesome and 3D works with all tv but for better experience you need hd tv, and red and blue glasses. You can make it at home just go to youtube and find (how to make red and blue 3D glasses)... and if you have a 3D tv then it is much better all things look's coming out of tv........ awesome game i took this game from a shop near my house at Rs 1499 only it has 3d lable on it i dont know about this game cd which flipkart is showing.. 3D lable is not shown on the cd cover in the picture.... soo make sure before you buy it...

Best Batman Game Ever..... Maybe
Best Game play ,Best Graphics, Extremely great story line ,very beautiful scenery , ....... I really have no words to describe this product , it is just just awesome . I ordered it on Thursday and got it on Saturday ..The main single player story line is very reminiscent and very dynamic ,,it is a must play for Batman fans and also those who are playing for the first time..Batman Arkham City has changed the face of modern gaming .. Rocksteady rocks.

Must have!
XBox had recently upgraded the graphics system to support 3D stereo I believe, I game has it all.
The game play with 3Ds just added that extra excitement. I find the reflexes in hand-to-hand combat action gets just better as you can defend yourself (the batman/catwomen) better.
The variations in the solving action puzzle are just too large to try. game gives very much open ended platform for excitement. This give that extra durability to game play.

This one is better than the last.
Batman Arkham Asylum is still one of my favorite games due to the strong story, long line up of villains and the attention to details even in the side missions. This one is simply put better than the last one because it has more side missions, same gameplay, and tougher Riddler puzzles, which I preferably like.
The downside is perhaps the story. Some parts which somehow do not get past my logic board, all in all not bad. Villains are interesting too, the only con with this game is that it never gets discounted and I am hardly getting any time to play it now !
