Beetel M13 Corded Landline Phone

This is a nice phone... I liked it... first of all superb product packaging, there was some delay for me to get the product which cud have been improved...

about the product:
nice LED display
with date time settings etc. but the time is just 24hrs no 12hrs
outgoing calls is just 5 which cud have been more.
gud ringing sound
buttons is bit small
caller id is gud

overall a nice phone... can go for it..

All I wanted was a landline phone with no bells and whistles. All I wanted to do with it was to make and receive calls. Unfortunately, it does not allow me to do even this?
a) The numbers on the keypad are not good. You need to press with all your might,else they don't work.
b) You cannot cut the line!! If you make a call and when you end you place the receiver on the handset, the line won't get cut, unless the person at the other end also disconnects! Sometimes, the person at the other end does not bother to disconnect, so you will have to wait for 2-3 minutes(time out by BSNL) until you can make another call!

Avoid this......

- Mute function
- Clear sound from receiver
- Wall mountable

Cons:
- Requires 2 AA cells
- No screen back-light
- No speaker phone
- Not magnetically shielded

A basic phone with Caller ID. At this price point there is really nothing to complain about. It offers a good feature set at a very good price. It isn't magnetically shielded so WiFi devices and cell phones near it can cause disturbances in the receiver.

Buy it if all you want is a basic phone with Caller ID. It does what it has to without any hassle and is a good quality product.

It's a simple looking elegant phone with heavy base, which helps to keep it firmly on the table. Its LCD display allows to set date/time and it displays dialed and incoming phone numbers. One can't set the brightness of the display.

There is a led that glows when an incoming call comes in. It requires 3 cells for the LED.

Negative: After about 6 months of usage, suddenly it stopped working i.e., we are unable to receive call (no ring) and unable to dial out. LCD though seems to display details as usual. Since phone carries one year warranty, we would contact Beetel for repair. Let's see what happens.

First day with the phone. Solves purpose for basic use. I am sure there are more products at cheaper price than this, but then do we really have time to spend buying a landline phone from a market. Its old school product anyways, replaced by swanky cellphones.

I would, however, request Flipkart to arrange sale of Headphone too for corded landline phones.
