This Belkin Modem Router lets you share your broadband with all the computers within your network, at a good speed and coverage. This Router has a link rate of up to 150 Mbps in 40 MHz Channel Mode. The advanced N technology based on which the Belkin Basic Modem Router is built provides faster, more reliable and stronger connection. The Wireless N Router gives you the freedom to surf without wires and even connect to Wi-Fi hotspots when out and about.

Installing this Router on your system is a matter of only a few minutes, as the device comes integrated with the Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) Server. This networking architecture establishes a connection between the Router and your system, managing other connections as well.

Design

This device has a build typical to most advanced Belkin Routers. The chassis is a sleek portable dark grey with curving edges and two LED indicators on one of these edges. Measuring about 140 mm in height, 63.5 mm in width and 140 mm in depth, the device weighs about 590 g. The two LED indicators display your Network status and Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) status.

Embedded with 4 LAN ports and 1 WAN port, the Web-based Basic Router lets you connect computers and other wired network devices to these ports using Ethernet cables.

The N 150 Router conforms to the current draft version of IEEE 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi Certified Compliant Standard and uses a Bandwidth of 20 MHz and 20/40 MHz (auto).

The technology of the N 150 Router enhances its wireless capabilities, allowing data transfer at speeds of up to 150 Mbps across your network. The device is also equipped with a firewall to protect your network from common attacks and viruses.

The Router uses the Network Address Translation (NAT) technology, saving you the cost of adding IP addresses per computer within your residence. This enables you to share a single IP address across your network.

Other Additional Features

Another significant feature that this router comes with is its language support. Apart from English, the router supports German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Traditional and Simplified Chinese and Japanese. You can keep a track of your Router's status through the Belkin Router Monitor application, which also helps you change network settings.
