Belkin F8Z445qeP Micro USB Car Charger

I ordered 2 of these items based on the assumption that I am ordering a genuine Belkin product. But on delivery, one look at the product, anyone can tell it is a cheap imitation and not an original Belkin product.
The quality of plastic, printing is a tell tale sign of imitation product. Brand name, serial number is not written anywhere. Many user's review mentioned crack in plastic after using it for sometime and I hope they understand that they have not purchased a genuine product.

When connected to Original belkin Charger , the Dell XCD35 resets and then starts charging.
Looks like the phone has to be initially OFF when this charger is connected.
When Car engine is OFF , it shows USB charging mode , when Car is started it shows AC charging mode.
If you happen to start the car OFF and On , with the phone On and connected , the phone hard resets without proper shutdown , which is very annoying.

Happened to check it with another of my friends cheap belkin charger bough...

only 1 Amp rated - so forget charging tablets fast enough to make a difference.

Works really well for my phone though - and fits flush in the socket in my Swift!

Would recommend this to over the cheap Chinese ones - as they kept blowing the fuse in my car.... this one has given no problems in the last 6 months.
