Short, crisp and perspicuous style of John Shors is very enjoyable. He has done intensive research as many accounts described demonstrate. It's quite commendable. He mixes History, tradition and culture with his figment of imagination, and it becomes inseparable. The story does linger a bit,in the middle.Readers should read it as fiction and please don't do any research or 'wikipedia' on it or you will be utterly disappointed.
