The Best Of Archie Comics (English, Paperback, Various)
Journey to Riverdale and meet everybody’s favourite redhead as he struggles with high school, choosing between two beautiful girls and nagging parents in The Best of Archie Comics.
Summary of the Book
Archie Andrews has a difficult life. He has school to attend, and he’s not doing a very good job there either. The Principal Mr. Weatherbee is hell-bent on giving Archie a hard time. He thinks it’s so easy to show up at school on time every day. Doesn’t he know that a teenager has other things to do? Archie needs to manage dates, he has the alluring Veronica Lodge on one hand and the pretty Betty Cooper on the other. Both girls want his attention but Archie just can’t decide between them. Mr. Weatherbee seems to think there’s nothing more important than studying! Archie can’t be like the genius Dalton who has absolutely no finesse when it comes to girls but can manage an A+ in any subject. Thankfully, Archie has friends who listen to him. Jughead Jones will listen to anyone who’s willing to buy him a Pizza at Pop Tate’s. His advice is sound, but sometimes, it just sounds bad. Sometimes Archie relies on Reggie Mantle for advice, which is a mistake because Reggie’s solutions revolve around his idea that he’s better than everyone. Out of confusion, Archie sometimes gets into deep trouble. He has hit on Midge Klump, and that’s a definite no because anyone who gets close to Midge risks a serious chance of being flattened by her boyfriend Moose Mason. So join Archie and his friends as they tumble, fall and slide through high school and all the fortunes and misfortunes of being a teenager in the little town of Riverdale. This collection presents over 400 pages of the most memorable comics which will spark rib-tickling laughter in every reader.
