Story-line – A very relevant and honest account of the happenings around us. Shail stands for that rebellious adolescent who feels he is grown-up and capable of taking care of himself. The concern of his parents towards his studies is to him irritating. We all have gone through this phase in our life. Hence it is easy for us to relate to Shail’s feelings and his rebellious nature.

The story of Urmila and Sushil cleverly woven into Shail’s story is also real...

I finished this book in one sitting. It reminds me of the days when I was preparing for the board exams. It keeps the reader involved throughout the book, and portrays exactly what goes on in a student's life, while focusing on his/her academic goal.

Regarding the author, I have been Mrs. Chitra's student in 2004-2005, and I can very well attribute my success to her. She has taught numerous students over the years, and has ensured that each student gets attention and customized action plan...

This is a simple yet interesting book. The issues that are addressed in this book are really though provoking and once you reach the second half of the book, you would find yourself compelled to keep turning the pages. Yes, it gets very interesting in the second half.
The book is about a 17-year old boy named Shail who wants to become a footballer but for that he needs to pass his board exams. That's when his parents - Sushil and Urmila come in along with the mentor Gladys.
