About Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay

Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay is a renowned Bengali writer and author from India. His stories for both children and adults are widely read and critically acclaimed. Some of his novels are adapted into movies. Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay is the recipient of the Ananda Purashkar. He is currently on the staff of Anadabazar Patrika in Kolkata and is also associated with the Bengali magazine Desh. Shada Beral and Kalo Beral are thrillers authored by him. PatalGhor, Kaagajer Bau and Nabiganjer Daitto are some of his works that have been adapted into movies. Some of his children’s fictions are Bonny, Boxer Ratan, Golmal, Sonar Medel and Unhu.
