It’s the year 2080 and the population of the robots living among humans is at an all-time high. This would have been fine if the robots minded their own business and stayed out of human lives, but it was not meant to be. An evil corporation with its own hidden agenda is building robots with such finesse and detail that no one can differentiate between a human and a robot. If this happens it will not only spell doom for humans, but for every living species across Earth. In Binary Domain, you play as a brave soldier who will go to any extent to annihilate the evil robots from our beloved planet.
The game is targeted towards hard-core and casual gamers who like games based on the sci-fi genre. The third-person shooter video game has many new features that will get you addicted to the game for endless hours in a day. Binary Domain game DVD is available for the PS3 gaming console and carries a Mature rating from ESRB.
Synopsis and Features
The leader in robotics technology, The Amada Corporation, is producing robots at such a rapid pace that they are outnumbering the humans. The robot numbers have grown to such an extent that they are beyond dangerous now. Playing as Sergeant Dan Marshall, you will help a team of multinational mercenaries to infiltrate into the corporation and stop the robot production. The only question is can you do it in time before it’s too late for the entire mankind?
Developed by Yakuza Studio and published by Sega, Binary Domain tells a fearful story of what will happen if robots decide to take over Earth. The single-player campaign in the game will take you across the city of Tokyo where the game is set. The environments in the game have been designed in such a way that they show the heavy destruction caused by the robots. These include shattered slums, crate-riddled corridors and many others.
Combat featured in the game offers plenty of action as you can blind-fire, roadie-run, jump behind cover and do many other things. If you are wounded on the battlefield you can sneak up behind your enemies and execute a powerful melee attack to silence them forever. Enemies featured in the game come at you as different type of robots. These include giant, biker robots, human-like robots and several others.
One of the innovative elements present in the game is the voice command system. This feature allows you to speak commands such as wait, cover me into a headset. This is easier as you don’t have to press additional buttons to assign commands, making the gameplay more intense and entertaining.
The game also features a relationship system between you and your team mates that is defined by the actions you take against them. Be good to them and they will help you out by killing more enemies; shoot them in the leg or keep pushing them aside and they will treat you like an enemy. This feature can be especially helpful when you are swarmed by a group of enemies.
If you like playing games with friends or family members you can do that in this game as Binary Domain supports multiplayer. From the classic deathmatch to capture the flag, the game features all the popular multiplayer options. If you like killing multiple enemies who come at you in large numbers you can opt for the horde mode in the game named Invasion. Teaming up with a buddy you can shoot at waves and waves of enemies that come at you with relentless force. You can download the updates and other content for the game from the PlayStation Store.

After starting to play the game, i couldn't but say WOW!!! I got immersed into the game and actually fell in love with it.
PROs:
1. Great storyline, almost like watching a movie.
2. The characters are very likeable and very well presented.
3. Very nice cut scenes, I never felt like skipping a single one.
4. Great graphics and effects with details.
5. Engaging and strategic boss fights. You need to hit their weak spots.
6. Great pricing. At 699, it is 'paisa wasool'.
CONs:
Just only one. The game was originally not made for Windows. It was just ported to run in it. And the porting was very bad. The keyboard controls always seem to be awkward. For example ESC key does not work. Same key is used for RUN/duck and take cover. So, the character will stop running and duck or take cover suddenly beside an object, if you get close to an object while running. Although after few hours of play one can adjust to the controls. A few keyboard controls have also been fixed with 2 patch updates.
But anyways, it has to be 5 stars for the game.
I had not expected binary domain to be a great game but when i first saw it i couldnt stop my self from playing it It was very adventurous and exciting with a a lot of breath taking movements Altogether the game felt it was lacking personality I felt that it was copied from here and there Also after 4-5 hours of playing it feels a little repeative and similar..Altogether it is a very good game with very interesting cut scenes The graphics was awesome and it felt pretty good banging some metal heads..The story was interesting altogether i feel it is a game worth buying....IF u want a break from those intense war games this would be a pretty good choice for u...but anyways since mass effect 3 is released that would be a better potion but if u want to buy it..its still worth it..
Pros:
-Nice story
-Good likeable characters
-Awesome Boss fights
-Nice satisfactory cover based shooting
Cons:
-Typical Console port with very few graphics options, but still runs good, not demanding on system
-Looks average even on max settings
For 699 bucks, you cant go wrong. Just buy it.
