Biology: Science For Class - 10 (Part - 3) is the last book in the series of three science books prescribed by the CBSE, completely covering the NCERT syllabus for class 10 Science. This book is a part of a series, which includes Science For Tenth Class: Physics (Part 1), Science For Tenth Class: Chemistry (Part 2): Chemistry, and Science For Tenth Class (Part 3): Biology. One of the highlights of this book is the inclusion of a large number of unsolved and solved questions, in accordance to CCE pattern of School Education as a means for analyzing a student’s learning skills. There are six chapters in this book, and some of them include How Do Organisms Reproduce, Life Processes, Our Environment, and Control and Coordination.

The major goal of this book is to make learning Science much more interactive by printing it in multicolour. The headings, definitions, and subheadings have been presented with different colors. This helps the students locate the topics easily, and study them conveniently. The authors have also included a number of diagrams to explain concepts such as manufacturing plants, scientific processes, and everyday applications of scientific principles. About The Authors

Lakhmir Singh is an author and educator. Apart from this book, Singh has written Chemistry Science For Class: X (Part-2), Science For Tenth Class: Physics (Part 1), Physics: Science For Class: 9 (Part-1), and Biology: Science For Class: 10 (Part-3). Singh was born in the year 1948 in Patiala, Punjab. He completed his Bachelor’s of Science degree in 1967 from Hindu College, and went on to finish his Master’s of Sciences from Delhi University. After that, he worked at Dyal Singh College as a lecturer.

Manjit Kaur is an author. Apart from this book, she has co-written Awareness Science (Class-8), Science For Tenth Class: Physics (Part 1), and Chemistry Science For Class: X (Part - 2). Kaur is married to Lakhmir Singh.
