Black & Decker ACV 1205 Car Vacuum Cleaner

Got my Vacuum cleaner delivered on Saturday and put in on test the same day.
And I must say I'm very impressed. My car looked perfectly clean and I regularly give it to garage for washing and vacuuming. But boy, when I emptied the dust bowl and cleaned the filter, I was in for a rude shock.

Though the suction power is less compared to a household vacuum cleaner, it does its job very well with the suction power available on board.
What matters is versatility, mobility, freedom from 230V power socket and compactness.

It also comes with a nylon storage bag where you can store the vacuum cleaner and all the attachments conveniently (which is not mentioned in the product description on flipkart page).

It's a must have accessory for every car owner. One of the best investment I've made and worth every rupee.

Bought this item a few weeks back and my first impression has been really good. I have a sedan and the cord is long enough to reach even the boot of the car. Performance has been really good. I found the vacuum cleaner more efficient after a round of brushing the carpet with the small brush supplied along with the equipment. I used it for more than 30 minutes and didn't face any problems with the battery charge.

Any Do-it-yourself person will confirm that a Black & Decker product is 'pedigree' item; it spells quality. Black & Decker 1205 Car Vacuum Cleaner is engineered for ease of use, has a reasonably powerful suction (to the extent possible with a 12V supply), and basically does the job. At times you may need to go over stubborn areas a couple of times but it is much better than lugging a heavy domestic Vacuum Cleaner, electrical extension and all.

The product is a very light weight, ergonomically designed and made from high-grade plastic (except of course the motor). It took me 2 minutes to assemble the product, another 10 to clean the car, a further 2 minutes to fully dismantle and clean the dust compartment and filters (there's no dust bag and no screws to remove).

What the manual does not mention is that there is an small nozzle attached to the underside (towards the back) of the Black & Decker 1205 Car Vacuum Cleaner. This nozzle needs to be removed before you use the product otherwise it impedes the air flow (and suction).

There's plenty of attachments and the Black & Decker 1205 Car Vacuum Cleaner with its ultra-long electrical cable, can reach every nook and tiny corner of your vehicle. Mine also came with a convenient carry bag and the vacuum cleaner fits snugly in a corner of my car trunk.

It's a bit pricey but the quality of plastic is good and the product feels 'solid'. I've been using other Black & Decker products for years and none have failed or given the slightest problem. Hopefully, this product too will follow the trend. I feel it's worth the price. Definitely recommended.

I recently purchased this product from Flip Kart and I must admit, my first impressions are pretty good. The product is compact and contains accessories that neatly fit into the scheme of things. My Fiesta got the first taste of this vacuum cleaner and must have really enjoyed it i guess.All parts snugly fit in and the plastic quality is decent from the look of it. Only time will tell if the plastics are durable or not. The suction power appears good enough and the list of accessories provided are easy to fit and use. Overall a good product given its ease of use, performance and cost. However, there was a delay in delivery for about 10 days, which put me off, but having received all earlier products in two days, i perceived that this was a pure one off. Hope so. The packing as always from FK was great. Personally i wanted some one from FK to call and explain the cause for late delivery. But no one called. A sour point indeed. Next time, i am expecting better response towards delivery.

I've waited for this product to showcase on Flipkart for a long time. Finally, I was able to purchase the product. And what more, it came with a complimentary screwdriver set. So in the end it was all worth the wait.

1. Very powerful. Suction power is very good.
2. Good number of addons and fitments provided.
3. Good amount of internal filtering. With cheaper vacuums, the sucked dirt is thrown back along with exhaust flow. This is not the case with this one
4. Product is well built. The quality if plastic and wiring is really good.
5. Long wire which can reach all parts of the vehicle.
6. Cleaning the filters is easy
