  • Description
This is the story of an ordinary but sophisticated man, who tries to abolish the bonded labour system. He is from a middle-class malayalee family who seeks a job in Andhra Pradesh. He is a part of a volunteer organization and through this organization he tries to motivate the poor Lambadi tribes to bring back their derailed hope. A beautiful Lambadi girl boosts his cause. When he identifies the bonded labourers, trouble raises its hood. The rich and powerful who keep the bonded labourers become his enemies. He, even though innocent, becomes the scapegoat in a framed murder case. The fear drives him to Nagaland where he faces hardships due to colour discrimination from local Nagas. Is he courageous enough to be in Nagaland to complete his mission? What is the role of the beautiful Lambadi girl? Will he be able to abolish the bonded labour system? How does the mentality of a society affect a beautiful state like Nagaland? Find the answers to these questions through this inspiring journey.

    Author Info
    • Chandran was born and brought up at Thangalur, a beautiful village in Thrissur, Kerala (India), blessed with ever-running rivulets, green paddy fields and mind stealing hillocks. The people of Thangalur are very innocent and share their pleasures and displeasures without malice. Chandran obtained a degree to become a teacher. He served in four states, namely Kerala, Andra Pradesh, Nagaland and Tamil Nadu. He met many people throughout India and helped them in their problems. He married a Roman Catholic girl, Shaila, disregarding caste and creed. They have three children; his first two daughters, Thingal and Sukruthy, are working as nurses in Kerala, and his youngest son, Timsander, pursuing his B.Com degree. Chandran is currently working as an English Teacher in Tamil Nadu. He hopes this novel will help change the colour prejudice and injustice in India.
