The Black Trap

A struggling author, Michael Fly, wants to gets his daughter that he deserted a birth. However, he's been saying this for twenty years. This is a personal story of a redeemed father that's trying to win his daughter's love. His daughter, Baby Ann Fly, is an angry child of a broken home and she is living on the wild side of life and the life that he has escaped. In sorrow he remembers his military marriage to her mother that didn't love him and tried to use him in a deadly scheme to get rich. His pursuit of his daughter is rejected because of her mother's lies about him. The setting moves around from San Diego to Long Beach, California, to Chicago, Ill., to the new South, and then to Denver Colorado. It all begins while Michael Fly is a young sailor with an insatiable desire for love and gets involved with an older woman in a one-night stand that changes his life forever. It takes the death of his best friend before he realizes the trap he's in. It all ends when he puts his life on the line by getting between a gangster and his love for his daughter.
