BlackBerry Bold 9650 (Tata Indicom) (512 MB)

The BlackBerry Bold 9650 is a compact phone with QWERTY keypad. The phone supports both CDMA and GSM networks. You can insert a SIM card in the built-in SIM card slot to activate a GSM network connection. The Bold runs on BlackBerry 6 OS, which allows smooth running of the applications.

The Research In Motion(RIM) mobile features a 3.2 megapixel camera which has 480 x 360 pixel resolution. The Bold camera has 2x digital zoom, LED flash and image stabilization for better picture quality. The 2.44-inch TFT display screen with 65k colours lets you get a bigger view of the images on the handset.

Design

The 9650 Bold has a touch-sensitive optical trackpad for easy and fast navigation through the phone applications. The 3.5 mm audio jack is present on the right side of the phone, along with the volume rocker and a customizable shortcut key. On the back of the Bold is the camera with the flashlight. On peeling of the rear, there is a slot for the microSD cards.

Storage and Battery

Powered by Li-Ion 1400 mAh battery, the BlackBerry provides a talk time up to 5 hours and standby time up to 312 hours. Along with this, the phone provides continuous music backup up to18 hours. The smartphone an internal memory up to 512 MB which can be expanded up to expanded up to 32 GB using microSD, microSDHC cards.

Connectivity and Features

BlackBerry Bold 9650 allows you access the Internet through the GPRS, Wi-Fi, EDGE and 3G. You can share images, videos and music files with other devices using connectivity options like Bluetooth and USB. Preloaded applications like Twitter and Facebook lets you stay connected with yours friends 24x7.

The Blackberry App World on the BlackBerry 9650 lets you download applications according to your needs and interests. The BlackBerry bold helps you to pinpoint your location, plan your route and get directions with the in-built GPS. Other applications like Blackberry Maps, Document editor (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF), Document Viewer and organizer are also available in the Bold.
