The 9650 Bold has a touch-sensitive optical trackpad for easy and fast navigation through the phone applications. The 3.5 mm audio jack is present on the right side of the phone, along with the volume rocker and a customizable shortcut key. On the back of the Bold is the camera with the flashlight. A high end CDMA device
The Bold is a good cdma device. Actually, in the BB phones that accept tata indicom cdma, this is the "highest end" phone!
The good points
Supports ALL BB services, all basic connectivity is in place (Bluetooth n Wi-fi), a camera, touch pad is SIMPLY lovely, fantastic qwerty, reasonable speakerphone (that is is on the side is a 'plus')
The Not so good points
Battery life is a definite down, a shade bulky and heavy, the belt clip in the pouch is not detachable, grip is poor - a lil slippery, poor earphone performance, the convenience keys (especially the one on the left) are difficult to handle with a single hand, single hand dialing not comfy
Final notes
I love this phone - just gimme a bit more battery time
I am told that with OS 6, things will be better
