About Author :
Dr Siba Prasad Adhikary passed M.Sc in Botany from Berhampur University in 1976 and was awarded gold medal. After his initial training on nitrogen fixing blue green algae for PhD at Berhampur University (1976-1980) he had worked at post doctoral level in the Institute of Microbiology, Freiburg i.Br., Germany (1982-1983) and National Institute for Basic Biology, Okazaki, Japan (1991-1992), and as visiting fellow at the University of Konstanz, Germany , Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai and institute of Microbiologysedrock surfaces of temples and monuments of India and their mechnism of stress tolerance, upgradation and refinement of the BGA biofertilizer technology for use in rice cultivation, marine algae of orissa coast.
