Bollywood StripteaseA fun book with insights into the roller coaster film world. It's a good mix of real life inspirations, observations and fiction. The protagonist is an inspiring role model for hordes of youngsters who come to Mumbai to be a part of the struggling community in Bollywood. Saw potential in adapting it for a film, hence I now own the film rights via our company iRock Films.

I expected more! This book totally keeps it's readers deprived of all that is promised on the cover page. I am sorry but the plot, the characters, the end, everything was just so stereotypical. It's as if you know the whole story right in the first chapter- it's THAT monotonous. I mean maybe it isn't, but the point is we have seen it all in Bollywood movies related to the subject. I am giving 1 star because that's the least i can.

How I Feel About The BookThere isn't a strong plotline that keeps you engaged, but other than that humor is present and also some facts about the Bollywood industry that's worth reading about. Too much emphasis is placed on the protagonist, Nikki, but that's good sometimes because the plot demands it. Besides all this, the writing style is unique and memorable, and this is the best thing about Neeta Shah's book, Bollywood Striptease.
