High Expectations and doesn't disappoint !!

I have loved Chetan Bhagat's Two States and also Durjoy Dutta's Ofcourse I love you.. and was expecting BRBG to be the same. Its actually a great Book from Anirban Bose, but to be frank the book starts losing its lustre as we shift towards the end. Completed it in one sitting.. The story is honest and simple though Mechanical Engineers like me might find it hard to understand some medical processes and words :D

Good one...!!

"Bombay Rains, Bombay Girls" certainly this is good novel. In my opinion story is predictable and there are hardly any surprises or twists in story however, narrating style of author is excellent hence he has succeeded in engrossing readers till last page and managed to make it 'different' from other love stories. Characters are portrayed with shear grace and one can feel them while reading.
Finally if you are a book lover then do read this book...!!

Bombay rains, Bombay Girls ROCK!

Traces the journey of Adi (a boy from Ranchi) from a timid and confused small-town boy to a mature and confident young man 'growing up'in Bombay during his initial 2 years of MBBS. The humour in the book is fairly original and lets one connect to it. The ending is a little slow and flaccid but the overall feel of the book is great and leaves an impression on most people. There are various aspects touched upon during the course of the book through the friends Adi makes in college and they make interesting reading. A extremely worthwhile buy in my opinion.

A book with loads to tell..

Anirban Bose, i think should gain much more praise for what he wrote rather than chetan bhagat's craps. Bombay rains Bombay girls is a story about friebdship,love,betrayal,profession-over-passion. It will keep u glued to your seat till u complete it. 450 pages of awesomeness. a must read for an adventure enthusiast.

Does not really rain

A book by a doctor from Ranchi...most likely autobiographical, nothing to write about, more like a B minus bollywood movie.

Begins well and then loses its plot, meandering towards it's closure of 450 pages.

The only reason I ordered was the deal on flipkart and my enthusiasm to see if Indian authors are making the cut.

not so bad

not exactly mind blowing, but it's a good read....the climax is a bit predictable though...'a good read' is the only way to sum up it..

For Fast Reading

Was absolutely thrilled with the start. It goes at a very fast pace. Wanted a book which will would keep me occupied for journeys and this book surely managed to keep me hooked.

A great read - though many parallels will be drawn with Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat - this book is quite different in terms of story telling and the background of course.

And big fonts - absolutely love it. :)
