Very good guide on Indian Butterflies
An excellent book which not only lists all the butterflies but also talks about their habitat. It has an introduction to let a novice reader understand how to identify a butterfly. I am not an entomologist even my subject is not biology, but after reading through the chapter once gave me enough confidence to start to try to identify butterflies around me.One of the bonus feature that I loved most is the discussion on Butterfly photography. The binding is perfect, it's hard bound, though I expected better quality of photographs. Still, a very good book to have.
Only flip side, I wish this book could include "moths" also.

Best Field Guide
This is the best field guide to Indian butterflies yet as of writing this review. The book gives helpful identification keys along with photos for most of the Indian butterflies. But potential buyers might want to wait for the second edition which is expected to be released sometime in 2013 and pretty more comprehensive.

A encyclopedia of butterflies and company
This is a wonderful book and a great companion for nature watchers like me. It contains almost everything that we see around us. Thanks to Mr.Kehimkar for the breathtaking effort. This is one of the most prized collection in my NATURE series.
