The magical new novel from number one bestseller Cecelia Ahern.

Tamara Goodwin has always got everything she's ever wanted. Born into a family of wealth, she grew up in a mansion with its own private beach, a wardrobe full of designer clothes and all that a girl could ever wish for. She's always lived in the here and now, never giving a second thought to tomorrow.

But then suddenly her dad is gone and life for Tamara and her mother changes forever.

Left with a mountain of debt, they have no choice but to sell everything they own and move to the country. Nestled next to Kilsaney Castle, their gatehouse is a world away from Tamara's childhood. With her mother shut away with grief, and her aunt busy tending to her, Tamara is lonely and bored and longs to return to Dublin.

When a travelling library passes through Kilsaney Demesne, Tamara is intrigued. Her eyes rest on a mysterious large leather bound tome locked with a gold clasp and padlock. What she discovers within the pages takes her breath away and shakes her world to its' core.

    Awesome!

I greatly enjoyed reading this book (which I had picked up solely on the basis of the beautiful cover). It's got all the elements I like- mystery, magic, teenage emotions, secrets, and simple language!
Itâ??s quite innovative, though I was a tiny bit disappointed that the primary object in the book- The Book of Tomorrow, though served its purpose well and had a role to play, it was more dominated by Tamaraâ??s story in the beginning, which turned into a family story towards the end. Kind of ...

    It's good..almost a favourite

The cover is beautiful and the summary got me interested. Personally, I love reading and a book about some library..well,that was enough to make me buy it. Mind you, the summary is a little deceptive, at least I think so. It suggests there's a moving, 'traveling' library, but that's not really the case. You'll have to find that out by reading it yourself; I am not sure I can give spoilers here. :-D
The book starts off giving a lot of background on the protagonist and this goes on for about t...

    OH MY GOD!

I seriously didn't expect this to book to be so hugely unexpectedly sincerely awesome. I couldn't take my eyes off it which is quite a feat as I'm often easily distracted. I got it as a b'day gift from my friend and well, this turns out to be the best b'day gift so far. I'm deeply grateful to my friend for gifting me this and also to Cecelia who has turned out to be a fav for me. Hats off!
