PROs:
1. Does not have very hi-fi system requirements.
2. It's unlimited fun playing the game. It is really an out of the box design and different from the other FPS games. The style in my language is "Shoot and Loot". And the cartoony feeling of the game adds more fun to it.
3. Thousands of varieties of guns, shields & grenade & skill mods. Guns are randomly generated but their properties are so accurately defined that you can actually feel the difference of using each one of the thousands of available guns.
4. Buy/sell/upgrade options for your collected staff
5. Multiple playthroughs available with 4 different characters.

CONs: None.

Initially you will find yourself limited with ammo and dollars. You might get tempted to save and reload the game multiple times to collect regenerating loots. But as the game progresses, there will be plenty of surplus ammo and you will not feel any urge to buy the arms and ammunitions. Anything dropped by your killed enemies will be more than sufficient.

Reviews say the sequel is even better. Ordering Borderlands-2 also very soon.

Since its a old game and the new game is available for 2300 bucks only,
you should lower the price of this game or you should add it to some scheme that if we buy borderlands 1 and 2 we get it cheaper because
i really wanna buy this game but its too costly for a old game, even god of war 3 is available for 1066 at flipkart... and i bought it from flipkart...it was amazing..
but this game please lower the price a little or add it to some saver pack of urs where we buy 2 borderland games for a little cheap like 3000/- or smthing

Overall game is amazing i have alotta friends playing it so ill buy it too.

very Good multiplayer with Many types of enemy. Although quite tuogh to play....Not to mention very addictive. Types of guns available is so diverse that you would be thinking for quit long "which gun to drop to accommodate new one?".... Enemies are Crazy...And so are the mercenaries you play as. . . As i said game is quite tough, enemies have good aim and comes with shield. As their rank grows it becomes harder to knock them down. Then again character powers are also unlocked as you level up....
Best part of all this is that you can play the whole Campaign in Co-Op with 4 players .

Very good and engaging game. I played Roland the soldier and the game was a delight at every turn. The unlimited weapons and enemies are new to me.
The story however could have been much larger and better written. This game is sorely lacking in the story department. The aliens appear only at the beginning and then at the very end. They could have made the game more expansive.

This game is, by far, the best I've played after Unreal Tournament and Diablo. I was looking for the XBOX version but could find only the PC version in a nearby outlet. Solo campaign gets a little bit boring after the first few missions. The sounds, visuals, and physics of the game are just amazing. For 239 bucks, this is a steal, although it is a very old game.
