Must for an Engineer on the field.

I have a lot of property measurement to do in my work. This tool is a super addition. Can effortlessly count to 40 meters. When the distance to be measured is larger, one can break it into a few segments by aiming at something nearer and then taking it from there.
Quite sturdy. Have given them to my employees without fearing for its safety.

The laser point is not always visible in bright sunlight though.

Still, I'm quite happy with all EIGHT of my purchases of this little gem!

ONE MORE VERY GOOD PRODUCT FROM BOSCH

I using this product nearly 6 months, it is working good. (before this I was used Leica disto ), Bosch DLE 40 is very useful to Interior designers, Architects, Infrastructure Engineers, all types of skilled workers easily use for flooring, ceiling, wall paneling including AC tonnage calculation work (volume ).
The accuracy depends upon (how to understand the technology) usage, i.e. no angle of inclination or repose of laser beam gives accurate result within the limits 1.5 mm. More than ...

A useful product for non-engineers as well.

One word to describe this awesome product from BOSCH.. Handy! A great tool for those moving into a new home. Helps with accurate measures without too much of a hassle.Keep it away from children though...

Works fine indoors. Cant use in direct sun light.

The laser beam is visible, and can be pointed perfectly in indoor areas and low light conditions.
Its difficult to see the pointing laser light when using outdoors, making it almost useless for outdoor long distance measurements.
The device is very precise and has a strong build. Good quality as expected from Bosch.

Does the work in a great manner but limited to 40 mts and not in a bright sunlight.

works really well in low light conditions. would had been little better if spirit level was included.
