A Box Of Moths

Grieving the death of his Mother, a young boy wandered the railway sidings gathering Hawk Moth chrysalis. He placed them tenderly in shoe boxes and stacked them in his bedroom. They hatched at night and the boxes danced in the shadows. 20 years later he gathered chrysalis with his daughter. From high glass cases the moths emerged. After an arduous birth, their drying wings shrieked as they circled the room. When my Father died in 1994, I began to write. I wrote about family, about Loss, Hope, transformation and the layers of Love. This is my Box of Moths.
