He also wrote under the pseudonym Howard Payson two series which are The Boy Scouts series (14 volumes, 1911-1918) and The Motor Cycle Chums series (six volumes, 1912-1915). He wrote The Motor Rangers series (six volumes, 1911-1914) under the pseudonym Marvin West, The Bungalow Boys series (six volumes, 1911-1914) under the pseudonym Dexter J. Forrester and The Border Boys series (six volumes, 1911-1914) under the pseudonym Freemont B. Deering.
