The HM5 feature an over the ear design which sits comfortably, providing an adequate seal that limits leakage. These closed dynamic monitor headphones are designed to give astounding sound for almost any genre of music and like all Brainwavz the headphones have a simple but stylish look to them. Included in the package are two detachable cables, a short 1.3 meter cable that is intended to be used with a portable rig and a larger 3 meter cable for use in a home environment. The large 43mm CCAW drivers are surprisingly easy to drive, but they do benefit with amping if used with a portable rig.

    Pure Music

    These headphones are amongst my favorite ones. They are the purest sound you would hear, flatter than almost any headphone I ever heard and hence they tend bring out the real music that was recorded by the production. You hear tiny details clear enough to identify, and with the Angled ear cushions, the bass is plenty enough to be present but still remains balanced and well separated. It also provides a very good sound stage and 3D feel especially with the angled ear pads.

    Nice product

    It's a recommendation.This headphone is as detail as famous as Audio Technica ATH M50x but the signature sound is just opposite to Audio Technicas.So if you want headphone that won't give you fatigue & not bright at alk this is the right Headphone. Most warm & smooth sounding headphone I have heard.

    Pure Bliss!

    Just 2 days it's been. No burn in required. Bliss flows out of these right out of the box. Everything spot on. The overall build quality feels premium, and the pads are very comfortable. Unlike M50x this one has decent soundstage for a closed back headphones. But obviously stay away if you love your booming bass. These are quite neutral over all the frequencies.
