The razor is washable and can be manually cleaned under running tap water. The series 7 trimmer from Braun has ergonomically designed floating foil comprising of holes of various sizes that capture hair from all sections of the face with each stroke. The head of the foil in Braun's 730s-3 comes with a sensitive flexing head. These foils are touch sensitive which understand the density of your beard and with the pivoting shaver head, you can remove hair from neck, chin as well as upper lip areas.Braun's shaver for men has a power comb with an active middle trimmer that is placed amidst the two foils. This creates great lifts and cuts across those flat-lying hairs with incredible oscillating movements. You can be assured that not one hair will be missed including the problem areas. This rules out all those painful pulling and tugging, giving you a smooth shave.
The 730s-3 range of shavers has a power button in the centre of the device. Braun 730s-3 Series shaver has unique LED 2+1 indicator. This lets you know about the battery status. The Best in the World!!!
I bought this one from Karol Bagh in Delhi from a authorised Brain reseller. After searching whole of Delhi for a "SERIES 7" shaver I got it in Karol Bagh, rest all had series 1 .
So it cost me Rs.14869/- , same price as that of flipkart's after a 10% discount on its MRP.
I charged it for first use for 1 hour (full charge), then shaved using it and it was amazing. It was even better than my Philips Sensotouch 3D which I used for 15 years.I had always heard of Braun being the best makers of shavers in the world , so thought of buying their top of the line model to experience their best product after seeing great reviews on Amazon USA.
The shaver is sturdy, solid (not plastic fell), has a led display at the bottom showing battery and shaver head condition, has a slide out trimmer which is just amazing, and has 3 buttons for various shaver settings and on/off function.
The shaving head moves freely while shaving and adjusts according to your face. You get 3 modes for soft/medium/hard shaves.This is a dry shaver, so no need of any water or shaving cream at all . The shve I get is very very nice and the trimmer is very nice to style my beard, or trim my sideburns.
You get a very small brush and some oil for maintanence of the shaver. You get a charger for the shaver.One full charge gives you 55 minutes of shaving, and for me it just takes 2 minutes/per shave, so the battery will last for weeks.
The shaver is easily washable under running water. It is very easy to maintain and use.
I think this is one of my best investments. People say their Braun shavers last for more than 30 years, I hope mine does too!
So take my advice,
FORGET PHILIPS, PANASONIC ETC.
