Summary of the Book
Little Mabel blows a bubble which gets away from her and causes a lot of trouble for her baby brother. The bubble wafts him away and soon he’s floating out of the house, over the fence and all over the town! Now it’s up to Mabel, her frightened mother and the rest of the townsfolk to get the baby back on the ground. About the Authors
Margaret Mahy was a New Zealand, best known as the author of children’s and young adult books. She has authored over two hundred books for children of all ages, two of which received England's Carnegie Medal. She was also the recipient of an Order of New Zealand, the highest honor a citizen can receive. Mahy was honored with the Hans Christian Andersen Award for her contributions to international children's literature. The Haunting, The Changeover, A Lion in the Meadow and The Seven Chinese Brothers are some of the books authored by her.
Polly Dunbar is an author and illustrator, best known for her self-illustrated books Dog Blue, Flyaway and Penguin. She is the daughter of children’s book writer Joyce Dunbar. Born in Cotswold, England, she has illustrated several books including Down the Back of the Chair, Here's a Little Poem, and My Dad's a Birdman. She studied illustration at Bright Art School and lives in Brighton, UK.
