The Bush Doctrine And Latin America

In the wake of the events of September 11, 2001 the government of George W. Bush has articulated a new strategy for U.S. foreign policy that has come to be known as the Bush Doctrine, and is based on a more aggressive approach to perceived threats to U.S. security. This book analyzes how the application of the Bush Doctrine in Latin America has changed U.S. policy in the region.
