Flipkart Official Review

Nothing like a good thriller to keep the bones warm, as it rains outside. Nothing better when it is set against a backdrop of corporate mayhem and drugs and a lot of action and adventure. There is also, but of course, a lot of blood.

Business Doctors is a thriller and lives up to the genre in more than one way. An Ivy League educated consultant, Michael Schneider gets hired by a client that no one can think of and the story begins at an astounding pace.

Sameers writing is simple and easy to understand and that is one of the highlights of the book. The plot is taut and simple. A perfect read for a great monsoon evening.

New thinking, interesting plot

If you thought management consulting is only for corporate, you're mistaken. It can help an underworld don, as much as it can help a fortune 500 client.

In this book, Sameer Kamat takes you through an interesting approach of how few management consultants go about fixing a mafia organization which is loosing money big time.

The plot is fairly different compared to other corporate fictions, hence it is very entertaining to read.

I would have appreciated a parallel track from a law enforceme...

A light and fun read.

Let me begin by saying what I’ve already said once, full marks for the unique plot. When so many new and old authors in India are trying to milk the same old cow of romantic stories (Guilty as charged!), Sameer not only finds an entirely different plot in the field of his expertise, but makes sure it is an engaging one as well. Which brings me to my next point, the language is lucid and there were hardly any points where I felt disconnected. If you’re a fan of humor like me, you’ll surely lik...

Management consulting really gone wild and bizzare - A new dimension of thought

Overall, a very impressive attempt for the first time fiction author....The title is really catchy......The plot was engrossing and the author really made the readers imagine the characters in their minds.....a plumpy Martin....fit n lean Schneider....Villain kinda Woody.....Humorous Joe....Sensuous Angie...a totally innovative character - Old lady hacker - Blizzard......The flow of story is smooth with few twists and turns towards the end.....I must commend that the author has really taken ...

A very fast-paced and interesting read from a first time fiction-writer

I don't generally pick up fiction books that easily, but when I first read about the book on its homepage, I found it intriguing. The fact that the book is self-published added to my curiosity.

So, when Sameer approached me over Goodreads and offered a complimentary copy in exchange of an honest review, I was all but happy.

The plot immediately catches your attention in that it puts a consultant into a completely unimaginable situation and explores how he handles the situation to the best o...

Business Doctors

When I first read the title of the book, Business Doctors, I never thought I would read the book. I mean it sounds so technical. I thought it would a book talking about business management or something equally boring. But it's tagline; Management Consulting Gone Wild did make me curious. So after reading the synopsis, I decided this book was worth a try. And I'm happier for that. This book took me on one hell of a ride . The story was strong, the characters were noteworthy and the very fact t...

An unusual plot of a Management Consultant who gets hired to save a business and not just any business...An Underworld Business...
But Why?
Why would he do that?
to make his ends meet?
to pay the next salaries of his employees?
or because he loves ...

An excellent read for MBA and Management students.

The starting is excellent; I was hooked up from the very beginning. One of the interesting things is that it is written by an Indian author and a plot set in foreign land with foreign characters, something new to the readers. Every character is given a due importance, the flow is good and language is simple other than the Management jargons used to describe some scenes. The subject is totally different from love story and breakups.
This is the story of a Mafia who lacks the proper knowledg...

An Action Packed Thriller.

The word hypothesis, heavily abused in the consulting world, gave consultants the license to form any opinion and dish it out as if it were true.

A way to understand what these management guys are up to, in a non-boring, in fact, hilariously entertaining manner.

Martins corporate gems hit Joe at point black range and were blown to smithereens without making any impact.

What happens when an Ivy League Management Consultant joins hands with an Underworld Don to resuscitate his dying busines...
