Butterfly

This is the story of a naive English girl in the early 60's and the adventures and misadventures that befell her en route to finally connect with her soul mate in the place where they met centuries ago.
She could fall in love easily for she was 'in love with love' but as soon as the object of her affection wanted to be serious she was like the elusive 'butterfly' off again; unknowingly searching but never finding, until there was HIM: her SOUL MATE. The search now over, the butterfly landed. Her heart was home.
The search took her to the other side of the world, to finally re-connect with her soul mate, where they first met centuries ago, as Aboriginal peoples in the continent now known as Australia. The place was Alice Springs.
We follow her route from England to Australia and the many jobs she blundered through to finally a job up north as a waitress. After a few weeks she elopes with a man she has just met, but soon realizes it is a big mistake. She knows she has to leave him and get back to civilization.
It is there the real adventure begins as the 'North' at that time was rugged, no proper roads; travel was precarious at best, never meeting any tourists. This was the outback and this was the early sixties, this was an adventure, but at times a living nightmare not knowing whether she would make it out alive.
