Translation is excellent

The translation work from bengali to english is praise-worthy. The story is woven with all the subtle aspects that make the heart flutter at times. However, the story concludes on a happy note with mind ruling the heart.
Since, the writer has fictionalised the history of Sangama dynasty, the reader is cautioned to only enjoy the story and not believe it as history, though one would like to have happy endings even in true life.

The book makes an interesting read as main characters influence each other and the outcome of the situations. One the princesses falling in love with a common man and the king letting them marry becomes the central theme of the book.
