Byron Mystery

This volume presents a discussion revolving around the separation of Lady and Lord Byron. At the time of the writing of this book, more than a century had elapsed since the events occurred and they were being looked at as borne forward into the region of history. The "Byron Mystery," as it was called, was thoroughly explored in the controversy of 1869-1871 upon the materials then within reach of the public. The facts and arguments brought forward at that time are to be found in numerous publications, some of them not easily accessible. The substance of these publications is reproduced in a condensed form as the basis of the present volume.
