Oh boy!! I bought this for a birthday gift but it's so hard to give away something that you instantly fall in love with! but it was worth it! this is the best gift for any Calvin and Hobbes fan!!

apart from the comics itself, the book has detailed character sketches, and explanations about the story line, inspiration behind it, and so much more! this book just increases your appreciation for not only the comic, but the whole process involved!

5 pages into the book, I already know this book is worth more than what I paid for. This book has a lot of things which the author Bill had in mind while penning Calvin and Hobbes. How he started, how the newspaper comic industry works.. and a lot of other interesting things. And of course, a vast collection of some of the best Calvin and Hobbes comic strips. This book is a collector's edition for C&H fans with strips from some of the funniest moments. Bill Watterson's comments on how he came to think of certain sceanrios are also included at the beginning.

The book is brilliant and 10th anniversary edition is just perfect for Calvin and hobbes fan. I bought it as a gift for my friend and seems really happy.
