Does cupid strike just once, or can people fall in love all over again when they meet someone new?
This is the central theme that's explored in Can Love Happen Twice, Ravinder Singh's second novel.
Can Love Happen Twice takes the story forward from where the author's previous novel, I Too Had a Love Story, left its protagonists. The book traces Ravin's life after his success as a novelist, and he's invited, along with his friends, to a special Valentine's Day program in a popular radio station in Chandigarh.
As people across the country tune in to listen to his heartbreaking love story, the novel takes a stunning turn – Ravin doesn't show up during the program. His friends Manpreet, Amardeep and Happy read through Ravin's unfinished second book to find out where he is, and listeners from across Chandigarh are taken through an emotional ride when Ravin's next tryst with love comes to light.
Can Love Happen Twice is a clean and simple love story that was highly anticipated by readers after the success of Ravinder's first novel, I Too Had a Love Story.

Can Love Happen Twice?
The answer to this title is 'No, it can't happen twice'. I read 'I too Had a love story' long back, cried and cried for a week after reading the book.
Have been waiting for the second book since long. On November 14th I got a mail from Flipkart for the pre-booking of 'Can Love Happen Twice' and within next five minutes, the order for the book was placed. I got the book today in the afternoon delivered to my office. Was not able to keep my hands off the book, I read till page number 8 of the book and I had goosebumps, I was numb. Finished the book by mid night, was not able to sleep, thinking 'Can love happen twice'.
I must say great work, congratulations for the book :)
"On various social networking websites every fan of yours talks and will continue to talk about Khushi and you for ages" - True
I loved the narration of the book, how Simar made Ravinder(the character) fall in love. How Ravinder (the character) started feeling for her, protective about her, like she is a baby to be taken care of.
Ravin made Khushi immortal, with you - through you. Nothing could be better than I too had a love story. This is one love story which will remain with me forever and ever.
The book is not that good, Could be because 'I too ..'has no comparison. I loved the first half, liked it mid way, but as it proceeded the book lost me, I just wanted to finish the book.
Still for my favt. writer and few pages which i loved completely, I will give a Four.
:)
Cheers Risha
I personally have found this book gripping and convincing. Love stories will always do wonders in India as there are many. Thanks ravinder for a master piece.
I've liked this 4 books the most in love story.
1. I too had a love story- Ravinder singh
2. Chockolate Sauce- Arpit Vageria
3. That's the way we met- Sudeep nagarkar
4. Can love haappen twice?- Ravinder singh
When I ordered this book from flipkart, I really had some great expectations from the author, considering his previous book "I too had a love story" was such an amazingly touching tale of love. But,I am sorry to say that I am thoroughly disappointed with this new venture of his which merely seems to be an attempt to encash from the past success and acolades. There is nothing creative, new or intersting about this book, it is the same old story which goes pretty much one track and gets to cleache at many points in the book. Here is what I feel about the book
Good Points
- simple narration
-some good line in between
Bad Points
- typecast story
-too much details
-a feeling of deja vu
-no grip on the story whatsoever
-too predictable
-haphazard climax
I would really like to experience something much much better next time from the author as he is surely capable enough of creating something way better than this book.
I remember, when I started reading I too had a love story it was such a page turner. It made me so emotional in the end. Expecting that the next book too would be a gripping one, i was waiting excitedly for the calender to show the date 15th of Dec, when the book would be released. Thanks to flipkart to deliver it to me the same day. I started with great exhilaration. But it dint last long coz as the story moved to Ravin and Simar it felt like I am reading a Mills and Boons. The innocence and freshness which was there with Khushi was missing. I am still half way through, and reading with the expectation that Ravinder singh proves gets me back the excitement with which I started the novel
As we all have read the story of Ravinder Singh which was a true love story and was announced bestseller, we so much excited to read Ravin's (sorry khushi madam for calling Mr. Ravinder only Ravin) LIFE. Means we also have a sad feelings for Ravin for happen to his life but when I read his second novel "Can Love Happen Twice?" I tell you it was amazing because we also have lost hope that now Ravin has to be alone for whole his life but He introduced Simar and I would admire his friends WHO HAVE PUT A GREAT ENDEAVOR for his friend and prove that it is not about only family member can think for our great future...there are some relations which are born to be with you forever who can do anything for just your great future and relation...He showed us that life is not over when someone goes away from us forever we should start life again and should give a chance to our life may be some other person would be willing to live with us willing to share somthing about their life so we should give a chance to their life atleast....
I wish for Ravin's bright future...
