Instead buy canon pixma ip 2770 printer from flipkart the cost while writing this review is 1795. You get both black and color ones along with the printer.

So you save around 200 rupees hehe

I have a Canon MP258 printer and the ran out of black cartridge that came with the printer so ordered this one and works perfect. The black works alone and it is not mandatory to have color cartridge so the previous reviewers view is not correct. There is an option on this printer software to let it use Black cartridge alone. The printer software says the quality may not be good if black is used alone but did not see any difference.

- Specifications as same as the product description.
- 220 prints to the max, as long as photo printouts are not
used frequently, for approx 440 prints get the PG 810 XL.
- Compatibility only with Canon Pixma 250 Series entirely.
- Only black prints cannot be done, uses color CL 811/811XL in
conjuction with PG 810/810XL black, as shades of black are
obtained by mixing colors, hence assumption that when either
catridge runs out i.e. either black or color, prints can be
taken with the remaining one catridge is wrong.

This cartridge was cheapest on Flipkart when I ordered this. Prices on most sites dont vary too much for these consumables.

Neighbourhood retailers sell at almost same prices. So its better to order from Flipkart.

Printer will work even with black cartridge. Buying a new printer is a option but you get small volume of ink in regular sized cartridge with new printers. So dont think that new printer is a good option.

Delivered by Flipkart delivery in 2 business days in Delhi which is ok.

Sometimes they dont attempt delivery but still you get SMS that consignee was not available. Flipkart should educate their delivery guys on this tendancy. Other wise it is satisfactory.
