This is an extremely fun lens for those funniest photo ops where you want a close up and magnified image. It is also a nice portrait lens and I really enjoyed shooting some awesome portrait snaps using my 550D. I received this lens within 5 business days and it arrived nicely packed. Awesome lens
One of the finest Macro lens.. The control it gives you when you really want a close up is awesome..FAntastic glass construct and Great with both AF and MF.. great supplement to my canon 550D ... Highly recommended.

Great Lens
This is one amazing prime! Really sharp, quiet AF. But found the AF hunting in indoors. So, a word of caution: If you are looking for a lens using which you can shoot indoors too, go for the IS version or use tripod.

Q:what is the difference between this 2 100mm macro lens, where one is pricing around 64000 and another around 38000?
A:The 64k aka the L version has IS, which makes macro works easier. As 100mm focal length is great for portraits also, go for the 64K L version. Better built, better glass quality, has IS.
