Bought The lens for 10K.... have queries ?Today i got this product , but the packing does not seems to be original it was opened before and the box is white which is covered with red color custom canon stickers. I think this is the kit lens that comes with Camera. The Original box is different as per my knowledge ..have got 2 lens(55mm 1.8 II) from canon and it came with original canon box . Should i return the product ? I will try to register in canon edge and will write a review again

A Well Focused Image!I got the Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS from America and have been using it for over 6 months. After experiencing the clarity and using the zoom of the lens it has been hard to switch back to my old lens.

Spurious product delivery Canon EF-S 55 - 250 mm f/4-5.6 IS II Lens but got an IS Lens opened box and fake productThsi was supposed to be a gift from my wife. got an open box containing the wrong lens Canon EF-S 55 - 250 mm f/4-5.6 IS Lens instead of a Canon EF-S 55 - 250 mm f/4-5.6 IS II Lens in a bubble wrap paper with no manual and the lens lid shut so tight that you may have expected that they had done it so that you damage the product and they do not have to give a refund.

A must have for beginersI had purchased Canon EOS600D along with the kit lens 18-55 mm IS II. Within a few days from using, I felt the need of a telephoto zoom lens. For a beginner, this is the best (within my budget) I could buy. There are third part brands available for cheaper price, but many of them do not have Image Stabilization. Image Stabilization feature is of utmost importance since the camera shake will be magnified at the telephoto focal lengths, it easily blurs the image you take (or else you have to use a tripod)

Tts not trueThe lense shown in the picture is not IS II (Image stabilizer version II) lense. It is the only IS (first generation) lense which was introduced back in 2009.
