Well, like most users, one spends lot of time identifying a great camera.

If you are a first timer, this is a good beginning. I have been using this for more than 10 months and am quite satisfied. More than the camera its the user who needs to spend lot of time to learn using DSLR

This is a fabulous camera for beginners like me ! I got a very good deal with Flipkart during the diwali sale (15% cash back from Standard Chartered) and with a free lense. Amazing Photography for Pro and learners.

I traveled with this at many city and country and it is just amazing . Good on VDO as well still images. Battery is also good. It will never let you down. . Sometimes I face issue on auto focus if moving in a car at high speed..

This is a very nice camera to start with DSLR for the beginners.
The extra lens combo is a good deal here. NIKON can be considered as an alternative but considering the user friendliness this stands to be best available option in this range . If your budget supports you can go for 550D as well .
