The EOS 600D weighs 570g and has dimension of 133.1 x 99.5 x 79.7 mm. A user can take pictures using the Pentamirror Viewfinder or a 3-inch clear view TFT display screen. The LCD has a resolution of 1040K dot pixels and has dual anti-reflection and anti smudge coating. The camera supports SD card, SDHC card and SDXC card. The rechargeable Li-ion battery LP-E8 available with the kit can shoot up to 440 pictures in one charge.Performance
Canon EF and EF-S lens can be mounted on the EOS 600D. This camera has TTL-CT-SIR Focus and can support both auto and manual focus. It has 9 AF points system (1 central cross-type sensor), that helps in accurate focusing of the object. The Canon EOS 600D has various Focus modes such as AI Focus, One Shot, and AI Servo and has a Focus range from EV -0.5 -18 (ISO100). The ISO of the camera ranges from ISO 100-6400 and can be further expanded to H (approx 12800).This Canon SLR camera has an Electronically-controlled focal-plane shutter, which provides the shutter speed of 30 - 1/4000 sec, with the assistance of bulb. The EOS 600D has an inbuilt Auto pop-up E-TTL II auto flash with a range of up to 17mm focal length. External flash of E-TTL II auto flash with EX-series Speedlites can also be mounted on the camera.
Features and Connectivity
The Canon EOS 600D has a Scene Intelligent Auto feature, which automatically selects the best scene for user. A user can also manually select various scene modes such as No Flash, Creative Auto, Portrait, Landscape, Close-up, Sports, Night Portrait, Movie, Program AE , Shutter priority AE, and Aperture priority AE.The EOS 600D allows user to set up self time of 2 and 10 seconds. The camera also can shoot at continuous mode at 3.7 fps. This Canon camera can record at Full HD (1920x1080) resolution at 30, 25 and 24 fps. It supports H.264 movie format and JPEG and RAW image format.
The Canon EOS 600D has a special function called Movie Digital Zoom, which allows 3-10x magnification even while shooting Full HD movie. In terms of connectivity, the 600D supports USB and HDMI mini.

Awesome!!!
Flipkart is the best place to get this camera...its the best deal in the market...and there service is awesome...got my camera on the 5th day...ordered on friday and got to lay my hands on this pretty the next tuesday...The packing was perfect with such a packing there was no way of damage...now i dont want to talk much abt the camera the specs and brand speak for itself...picture clarity is awesome...didnt get time to check out the video functionality though...thought of writing this review before i start playing with it...Overall the best deal and i am satisfied with everything...way to go flipkart...

Excellent camera
Canon EOS 600D is a good camera for people who wants to experiment with video along with excellent still photography results. It is light , due to its polycarbonate body , having an excellent tilt and swivel lcd screen which helps greatly in taking photos in odd angles. The high ISO performance is best in class,high iso performance is same as some of the costlier canon dslr like EOS 7D.Burst rate could have been more , but is enough keeping in mind the target user base.Best enthusiast level dslr in the market. One point is , this model makes Canon's EOS 550D rather redundant. With little extra money than 550D you will get better video quality,noise performance and a tilt-swivel screen. GO FOR IT.

Excellent Camera for Beginners
I wanted to buy this camera for a while now and I got it a month ago. I just love this camera. But if you compare this one with Nikon D5100, Nikon may score better in terms of image quality and price. But 600D scores well in video quality. 18MP in 600D and 16.1MP in D5100 wont make a big difference. The wireless flash option which is in 600D is a handly feature, which is not there in D5100 and external wireless flash transmitter cost too much. I'm a Canon fan so i opted for Canon. So its individuals call to to opt for which one they want.

Wonderful service - Great Price
I got the Camera in 4 days flat and if the courier hadn't messed up a little I would have got it in two. Packing was very good with no chance of damage as mentioned above. What stood out was the excellent customer service both before and after the order (although i communicated only be email), replies were prompt and not the stereo type that u expect with call centers and customer care associates. - Altogether A . rest assured I will be making more purchases at Flipkart. Thanks a lot
PS - I don't need to write much about teh camera except that it was a made in Japan model and the attached bag was also of good quality. Altogether a handsome deal.

Great Product
Image quality
The 600D primarily with the kit 18-135mm lens but it also comes in a range of other kit configurations including a more standard 18-55mm.
As the sensor and image processor of the 550D and 600D is identical, image quality is exactly the same. What this means to photographers who haven't experienced the 550D is excellent colour rendition and noise control at high ISO levels.
Dynamic range is very good, though there can be some highlight clipping in contrasty situations when using automatic exposures. JPEG processing is very good through most ISO levels. ISO 3200 and 6400 (the highest of the native ISO range) produce acceptable levels of noise for reduced or web resolution use. Colour noise at full magnification is quite pronounced though.
Video quality
Video quality, as with the 550D, is excellent. It's simply the best you can get on any SLR in this particular price bracket. Colour rendition is superb and the video image is smooth. Even the internal microphone seems to produce better audio than on the 550D. The 600D also gets manual audio levels (though still no method to monitor the audio before recording apart from referring to the visual meter).
