canon eos 650d dslr camera is the best in price camera available

canon eos 650 d is better than it's predecessor eso 600 d and 550d
it's touchscreen interface is the best and it is the world's first camera which has auto focus in movie mode
it has a dedicated movie switch,so you dont miss a moment
it 18.0 cmos sensor is the same sensor which is available in high price cameras more tha 2,00,000 Rupees
I own an eos 650d but i got it from canon retail store
it ships with 18-55 mm lens which is good but not sufficient for landscape and high zoom photos
canon is working on a special eos 650d lens that will take this camera beyond the limits
I recommend every one to buy this if they are looking for medium priced dlsr

Wondeful Movie Feature of Canon 650D

The better thing of the Canon EOS 650D is its 18MP sensor, quite different from that in the 600D. The sensor, a first-of-its-kind, is a hybrid Auto Focus sensor that allows the camera to utilize both Contrast and Phase Detect AF systems to provide constant autofocus, especially for Movie.

It also includes capacitive touchscreen. Canon has promised that the touchscreen would be as responsive as any popular high-end cellphone. through the touchscreen it can be used to access: main features of the camera.
1.ISO settings.
2.Shutterspeed
3.Aperture
4.Touch-to-shoot mode.

Another wondefrul addition for video enthusiasts is the addition of a stereo mic with camera, along with a port to attach an external mic. The Canon 650D launches alongside two new lenses that feature a new Stepped Motor that compliments the continuous Auto Focus of the 650D, all while maintaining total silence. This means no more focus noise will make it into the footage that’s been shot on this camera.

Igniting my Passion indeed!!

The 650D really lives up to its punchline "Ignite your Passion". I purchased this camera about 3 months back as my first DSLR. Before this I was using a Nikon P50 point and shoot which used to give me reasonable results.
Primarily, I did'nt shortlist this camera because of its touch screen at all!! You don't invest on a DSLR because it has a touchscreen but because of core elements that would deliever better results. However, after using the 650D, unknowingly I became accustomed to the touchscreen because of the sheer ease in navigation. Kudos to Canon for identifying this 'latent need' in customers. However, the "touch to click" mode is not useful at all!!
To test image quality, I went to a Croma store and clicked a photo (in the store) each using the 650D, Sony Alpha55 and the Nikon 5100D from the same location in the P Mode. I tried to observe the noise by zooming in at 100% in the pics in all three cameras. I observed the same noise levels in the 650D and Nikon 5100D but significantly higher noise in the Alpha 55.
Now, between the 650D and 5100D, I chose the camera with inbuilt HDR, Canon's latest Digic 5 processor, Phase Detection continuous autofocus in video mode and Handheld night shooting mode and better in-camera editing functionalities.

One of the most versatile cameras ever.

After owning a Canon SX30 IS, I bought the EOS 650D/t4i. And one of the main things that I considered while buying this was that this camera is FUTURE PROOF.
- The resolution is very standard. Not too high (like the recent Nikons) that'll cause image softening and low DLA, but still high enough for crisp A2 prints.
- The hybrid focus is a wonder. The TTL Phase detection along with contrast detection makes it a pleasure to shoot in Live View. And touch-to-focus is very convenient.
- The touch screen wasn't my first priority while buying, but now I find it very convenient. With all latest consumer electronics using touch, the CAPACITIVE TOUCH makes it a lot more convenient to use. Navigation through menus, changing settings, and shooting in Lv is fast and easy.
- Keys and touch can be used in combination. All the conventional keys are still there and fully functional. The layout is pretty easy. The On/Off lever comes with a third state...the movie mode.
- DIGIC 5! has better noise reduction. But the Multishot Noise Reduction works in JPEG only. Ghosting is barely visible. In camera HDR does needs steady hands though.
- UPDATED In camera distortion correction and peripheral illumination and chromatic aberration correction.
- NEW continuous AF in movies. More focusing methods in Lv. Extremely fast focusing with all cross type AF points, faster than 5D MkII.
- after comparing the higher end EOS 60D with this one, the image quality is the SAME. Better than Nikon D5200 in terms of base ISO performance, operation speed, build quality, and focusing speed.

For better information, I suggest you refer to DigitalRev reviews of both the products on Youtube. The reviews are very honest. I've used this camera for 2 months now. The shots I took are being used in a theme in Windows Personalization Gallery named Garden Glimpses. Yes, the camera is that good. I also shot an entire wedding using the 50mm f/1.8 lens without flash and the low light performance is great, though not the best. If you have used an advanced camera before, then go for it! But, if you are a novice, it'll take a while to take the camera up to it's full potential.
