The IXUS 115 HS is a point and shoot digital camera from Canon. The 12.1 megapixel CMOS sensor in the camera has dimensions of 6.17 x 4.55 mm. The camera is powered by Canon HS system, which consists of high-sensitivity sensor and DIGIC 4 imaging processor. The point and shoot camera supports various aspect ratios such as 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, and 16:9. This Canon camera can shoot Full HD video at resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels - 24 fps. Body

The point and shoot camera has a unique function called Movie Digest, which records a 4 sec of video before taking pictures. The Enhanced Smart Auto mode detects up to 32 different scenes to suit the situation and surrounding. This Canon point and shoot camera uses Lens-shift type Image Stabilizer to click blur-less picture. The camera supports JPEG image format and MOV movie format. The point and shoot camera has self-timer with 2 or 10 sec delay. The Continuous Shot mode can shoot at 3.4 shots/sec in Automatic mode. Connectivity options in IXUS 115 HS include USB 2.0 and HDMI.

Its a delight

Hi,
Using this cam for almost a month now and its been pure delight using it. You get awesome picture clarity and details both indoor and outdoor.

The HS system works like a gem . It gives you unmatched picture details and quality when shooting in low light conditions.

Colors come awesome and it has cool effects too, You can shoot high speed movies both in 120 & 240 fps.

If you are considering this vs the 220HS i recommend going for this one and save some bucks,bcoz from all the review...

Excellent Cam, Worth each penny u pay for

Excellent features. Noise is very less in photos. The scenes given by them are awsome. Especially the My Color feature which boosts the colour which u want, by which u can take excellent pictures of Landscapes. Also the long shutter option.
The slow motion movie is the best in the lot. It really rocks. Only issue with that is since it takes 120/240fps videos, the pic quality suffers which is bearable and expected.
HD Video clarity and sound clarity is amazing. Crystal clear sound.

Cost : Performance Great !

The options available in manual mode are marvelous. The camera settles quickly and does not haze images even at zoom.
For new users its Auto mode is great and it balances light automatically.

Overall Price isto quality is amazing !!
