Absoute Printer Review GO FOR IT But watch for the Details below.

First of all Kudos to Flipkart and Canon for delivery and the product respectively.
I bought this printer yesterday. I'm from technical background hence found the following minute details which you might deal with:

First its a wireless printer,
So it obviously has a MAC Address and also the new Technology of WPS.

Pros + Cons:

1. The printer DOES NOT HAVE a label or a sticker mentioning its:
a. No MAC Address Label
b. No WPS Code Label
c. No Serial No. Label

Value for money

I got this delivered on very next day. I setup the wi-fi printing with initial hiccups but after which setup with mobile & tablet was so easy and I could print the photos from phone itself after I take the snap.

The print and copy quality is awesome while the photo printing is bit dark.

But this product is value for money and I would recommend it to all who wants to meet their basic needs in print, scan & copy.

To my surprise, 2 sided print it available.. simply awesome

I bought this for my daughter class work / project, installed in just 5 minutes and synced very well with my iMac and Apple TV i print using wi-fi, quality is just awsome.
If you are looking for simple, handy go ahead without second thought.

The best wifi home color printing and scan/copy in given price range

It's a great printer.
The canon pixma mobile app allows you to setup and use various functions. I was able to scan a pic to my phone very easily.

Its preferred that you connect the printer through your router so that you can remote print via pixma or air or google cloud. Very useful in case you needed a print from your office like a map for your kid. You can also use direct wifi if you don't have router but for cloud print you need your laptop hooked up to the printer and internet bit trick...

Not that great, the ink dries of pretty quickly. Inks are super expensive . Total waste.

Pathetic product

I do not like to rate even a single star to this product. Pathetic in efficiency, printouts per cartridge is too less to even consider a viable printer. Over and above, the machine is perpetually on error condition.

I am writing this review after using this printer 6 months.
Its a very slow as it is inkjet, if anyone want to purchase printer please buy laser printer which are fast and also consume less ink.
Seller is good, shipment was fast...

High running costs and painful connectivity.

The good part about the printer is that it can do automatic duplex printing. I did have a few teething issues with wireless setup which is now solved. However, while printing from the canon app from the mobile it is painful since it always converts it to their format which takes a lot of time. The alternative is to print through google print but if the internet connection is down then that is ruled out.

The biggest downside of this printer is the number of prints per cartridge. I have not e...
