After a tough decision, between HP Deskjet 1050 All-in-One - J410a and Canon Pixma - MP287 printer, taking pains comparing each and every aspect, I finally ordered the Canon.

Quite fast printing speed for this price range. Also, the Manual is very explanatory. With manual in hand, setting up the printer is a child's play. Took me 10-15minutes to set it up.

I received my Canon M287 printer order on Jan 26 and delivered on Jan 29. The delivery service is awesome by flipkart. However, the delivered printer manufacturing date is 01/2013 which is exactly one year old. I am not sure what is the impact of the product being held for one year in store, but definitely it does not feel good to me. As flipkart states 'all the products are brand new and genuine'. How can someone say that one year product is brand new .... I hope flipkart will answer that.

It's almost a year since I bought this printer and the performance has been very good so far. The image quality of scanned documents is excellent. The quality of prints is also very good ( both colour and grey scale ). The printer is good for home use ( low to medium printing ), worth every rupee paid.
