A huge city sparkles in the night as a young despondent young woman climbs over the side of a high bridge and falls into the cold river, far below. Mike Harrigan is a private investigator with problems ranging from a busy schedule, an eclectic neighborhood, an annoying landlord, and the recent departure of his secretary. While assisting local police trying to identify the young woman whose body was found along the river bank, his former secretary meets the same fate of the Jane Doe. Is there a connection?
