every time a speed breaker comes the in-car rear view mirror is dis-positioned due to the weight of the device hanging with it...will have to adjust every time...

This thing fits Every Device...360° adjustable rotating joint...Flexible bending neck...Cushioned & secure locking mechanism...it is very well built but not well thought!

I bought this from Flipkart a while back. This product by itself is sturdy and solid, but where you fit matters. I have a Hyundai i10 and this literally causes trouble.

First of all, on rough roads as you would see all over Kerala, the weight of the device ( I have Nokia 5230 ) creates a leverage action on the long leg, and literally loosens itself from the mirror. This is mostly the case when you really want it mounted for GPS in case of long drives. This is a real disappointing factor, which defeats the very purpose of buying it.

Next is that for the same reason ( a weight hung to a lever ), the rear view mirror itself gets loose from its mounting on the windscreen. The ill effect of it is that after some time even if the device and the holder is not there, the rear view mirror is shaky ( not visibly ) and adds to the rattling sound. It took me a while to locate where this sound comes from.

Now I am totally disappointed for buying this at a premium price. Keep yourself away from this product model. Capdase itself has other alternatives of which (1) Fits into the cup holder (2) Fits into the charger socket ( But, I doubt this also might get loose and rotate ).

I'm not a fan of suction cup based holders as well. My car is usually parked in hot sun, and these cups lose its vacuum ability very fast. These things are not really for India. I'm still wondering why don't people just make a simple clip sort of thing which is cheaper and you can just hook on to the Sun Visor right above the driver seat. It is pretty much non obstructive to vision than any of these windscreen mounted types and is kind of right in front of your eyes :(

Though that will not fit exactly to few cars rear mirror, it fits well for my NEW FLUIDIC VERNA.

Present day cars rear mirrors are rigid, so no problem of mirror disposition.

Last but not least FLIP KART service is EXCELLENT.

I purchased the item in the month of July 2012.The look and quality of the product is excellent. I placed the same on my car rear view mirror. rarely i use this mount to hang my Mobile . Only when searching for new route , i use to hang the mobile on the mount. Suddenly ,after 4 months the push button switch is not functioning properly for gripping the mobile. Now i am looking for a service centre for repairing if any.

Recently bought it! Using it in my Verna{Fluidic},good built quality and great material . Although it does'nt exactly fits on the rear view mirror of my car{it will fit on the mirrors of most of the cars} , had to use some packing to fit it properly . Now , i'm enjoying watching videos , movies etc on my Galaxy . Now . i don't have the need to waste money on putting a screen in my car.
